URBAN RITE
Urban Rite is conceived as a study of resonance between body and architecture.
The garments do not merely sit within the space, they echo it. The rhythms of concrete panels, marked by their circular casting imprints, reappear in the articulation of the silhouette. Squares and circles repeat across the body: modular plastic grids, connecting rings, stitched panels. Geometry becomes a shared vocabulary between fabric and wall.
This dialogue is deliberate. The model adopts the codes of the environment, its repetition, its structural clarity, and translates them into wearable form. The clothing becomes a mobile extension of the architecture.
Yet alignment does not mean disappearance. Contrast is introduced to create emergence. The black surfaces, while dark in tone, are glossy and subtly reflective, they capture fragments of the surrounding light and architecture. In opposition, the white, luminous elements, the elevated heels, punctuate the composition. Through this interplay of reflection and contrast, the silhouette both integrates and rises.
The interplay of rhythm and contrast allows the figure to complement the space while asserting specificity. She does not dissolve into the environment; she completes it.
Urban Rite proposes dress as architectural response, a conscious construction of presence that harmonizes, contrasts, and ultimately projects intention.
